Quality models range from $599 and up. However, there’s plenty of places (Craigslist.org, Play it Again Sports, etc) where you can find quality used treadmills for less. Make sure any treadmill you consider is built to withstand a substantial load , as running on a treadmill creates a great deal of force. Many of the least expensive models are made for running and some can only handle moderately paced jogging. Ensure you check the warranty and customer service.
