Are Fat Binders the Way to Lose Weight? Interesting Information to Be Aware of

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

Fat binders are an excellent way to help you lose weight as part of your weight loss program and I’ll explain why.

First of all you need to know how a fat binder works A fat binder is a component that binds and gather the fat molecules in your body. Take pizza for example. You have just eaten your pizza which was delicious but not part of your diet plan. The fat binder that you took earlier before the meal then starts to work by beginning to bind together the fat molecules from the pizza that have been broken down by your stomach. At this stage, the fat molecules become too big to be absorbed back into your body and therefore has to exit your body as feces. This means that your fat binder is giving you the chance to start to lose weight straight away, starting from day one.

But that’s not everything a fat binder can do when you are losing weight. Some fat binders are also appetite suppressants. Why is that good? Well, an appetite suppressant works in a way that it tells your brain you are full, and this is where appetite suppressants help in your quest to lose weight. Obviously, if you are full, or your body believes you are full, you don’t eat as much, which means you are reducing your calorie intake and losing weight.

So as you can see, fat binders do help you lose weight effectively.

Why would you chose a fat binder?

Some fat binders also have many health benefits as well as helping you lose weight. If you find a good fat binder, and there are only a very small handful of them, these are some of the other health benefits that they can offer;

You won’t be eating as many calories because you body tells you that you are full
You will have increased energy levels
You won’t get those hunger pangs that drive you to snack
Your blood cholesterol level with be lower

In summary, because certain fat binders are 100% natural with no side effects, you can experience a weight loss program that helps you lose weight healthily as well as knowing that you won’t suffer any side effects. One of the most common problems with weight loss pills is that there are side effects associated with them, especially among some of the very popular ones. The reason for this is that they have been chemically altered. You don’t want a chemically altered fat binder.

If you are not careful about your choice of fat binder or appetite suppressant, you will find that you suffer such things as nausea, insomnia, diarrhea, headaches, to name just a very small amount of some of the side effects consumers have suffered.

So why not offer your body a natural weight loss solution now.

What are the Best Weight Loss Pills You Can Get

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

If you are looking for information on weight loss supplements, you know there is no shortage of options. In fact, the only shortage is on real information that you can trust. Most likely, you will be left wondering “What are the best diet pills on the market?” I am here to help you answer that question.

I think there are 3 important criteria to consider when determining what the best diet pills on the market are. First, is it safe? Second, is it effective? Third, is it actually good for you? I am going to answer these questions, in reverse order below.

Lets talk for a minute about whether a weight loss supplement is actually good for you. I know this isn’t your primary concern, but I think you should try to use healthy diet aids whenever possible. If a weight loss supplement is all natural and has beneficial vitamins and minerals in it, it passes this test.

Second, let’s consider how effective it is. Let’s face it, if it isn’t effective, nothing else matters. A healthy weight loss supplement that doesn’t work is just a vitamin. If you have a supplement that is healthy and effective, you can move on to the last consideration, safety.

Lastly let’s consider how safe a supplement is. If the diet pill you are looking at passes the first two tests, there is a good chance that it is safe too, but you should do a little research and see what kind of side effects other people have reported. It doesn’t mean you will necessarily have the same problems, but if you know what to look for, you can catch it before it becomes a problem.

Now it wouldn’t be fair to tell you how to evaluate a supplement without telling you what I think the best diet pills on the market are. Personally, I think acai berry weight loss supplements are the best thing you can get. First, they are good for you. There are tons of antioxidants, omega fatty acids, dietary fiber, and even protein in them. Second, they are effective. You will often find acai berries mixed with other proven weight loss aids like hoodia for a complete diet pill. To make it complete, it is safe. According to WebMd, there are no known side effects except for the possibility of allergy which you have with any new food you try.

When you consider all the benefits of acai berry weight loss supplements, I am sure you can see why I thing they are the best diet pills on the market today.

The Search For the Perfect Maximum Weight Loss Program. Interesting Info to Know

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

Because of the increasing number of Americans who are morbidly obese and overweight, it is no wonder that a lot of people are in the search for the perfect maximum weight loss program. But before you click the go button on your Internet search engine, there are a number of things you need to look for when determining the best maximum weight loss program for you:

1. Beware of programs that require you to cut out certain types of food. Diet plans like the low-carb diet plans are unrealistic as they deprive your body of much needed nutrients. Glucose coming from carbohydrates is the main fuel used by the brain, and depriving your brain of its food will make you feel sluggish, dizzy and less alert. Similarly, beware of programs that endorse the intake of one type of food alone. Diet plans like the high-protein diet where you are required to eat humongous amounts of protein daily at the expense of carbohydrates and fat will wreak havoc on your body, especially your kidneys, which may not be able to handle the great amount of amino compounds you are piling into your body.

2. Beware of programs that promise long-term weight loss without exercising. Although dieting alone can result in significant weight loss in the short term, adding exercise to your routine will enable you to keep the weight off for longer periods of time. This is because if you exercise, you are actually buying yourself the option to eat a wider variety of food, something that your body, and more importantly, your psyche will appreciate. If your mind is happy, you will have a tendency to stick to your routine, enabling you to keep the lost weight off for a longer period of time. So a good maximum weight loss program will definitely include some form of exercise.

3. Do not automatically dismiss programs that involve thought reconditioning as part of its weight loss strategy. More and more research are proving the solid link between one’s thoughts and one’s state of health. For example, if you have always believed that you only get sick of the flu once every year at around December, it is most likely to be true, as your body will adjust to your brains signals, lowering your immune resistance at around the time, making you more susceptible to the illness. You can apply the same concept to your weight loss program. By thinking positively of the end result, you will have a greater chance of getting the body you long for.

In summary, a good maximum weight loss program should endorse the following: a sensible diet plan, an exercise regimen, and the principle of mind-body connection.

How to Acheive Abdominal Fat Loss Quickly. Helpful Facts to Be Aware of

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

The abdomen is often an area that people are not happy with. It does not take much for anyone to get a little plump around the middle and it is very easy for it to snowball and before you know it, you have nice spare tire that you are carrying around with you. This is when you need to get on a diet and exercise plan aimed at abdominal fat loss.

If you are looking for a quick fix to get rid of abdominal fat, forget about it because it does not exist. It is though it is the first place to see the fat show up and the last place for it to go away from. Get ready to dig in and sweat a little bit and after a bit, you will see those love handles disappearing.

The first thing to address is the fact that people seem to think that doing a boat load of crunches will allow you to lose your abdomen fat. This is simply not true. Crunches build muscle in your stomach, they do not lose fat. What you will end up is with some great muscle underneath that belly, but you are still going to have to get rid of the belly.

The first thing you should do is start a good aerobic program. This is going to get that heart rate pumped and get you to do some good old fashioned sweating. Ideally, you need to do aero for about 30 minutes for it to be effective. You should not get discouraged if you get on the treadmill and cannot last the whole 30 minutes when you first get at it. Within a few weeks you will build yourself up to the point that you will be able to put the right amount of time in and then you will be able to build up the intensity.

You are also going to have to start an effective weight training program. You should rotate your weight program with the days that you do cardio and you will find that your metabolism will increase with your program and you will actually be burning extra calories well after your workout is over.

Last but not least, you must have a good diet program in place. This is an area that a lot of people fall very short on. They continue to eat whatever they want and wonder why the weight will not come off. You must monitor not only your calories, but also your fats, proteins, sugars, fiber and carbs. There is a distinct amount of each that you should consume based on your calories. You cannot just consume 2,000 calories, it has to be the right 2,000 calories to acheive abdominal fat loss.

Do You Need To Use Slimming Pills?

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

Are weightloss pills the last option for overweight and obese people?

There are many types of slimming supplements available in the market. slimming supplements that claim to help you lose weight very quickly do not work, as this is not possible. If experts recommend cutting out certain foods, this may help people lose weight but you probably may not be following a safe balanced diet. Over exercising also leads to grave problems. So it means, slimming supplements, dieting and exercising all have their share of problems. So in this case, what should you do?

The most popular and latest slimming supplements include Proactol, Acomplia, Xenical, and Reductil. These slimming supplements are prescription pills, and people can buy Acomplia, Xenical, or Reductil only after consulting a registered medical doctor.

Acomplia is an anti-obesity drug that contains rimonabant as the main ingredient. It comes in tablet form and works by targeting endocannabinoid system in the brain, which governs the factors like body’s appetite, metabolism and energy use. Acomplia improves the regulation of glucose, cholesterol, and triglyceride blood fats in the body. This helps in reducing an urge to eat more food and control hunger, which can help people attain weight loss. People save money when they opt in favor of Acomplia. It reduces the extra spending on food.

Xenical is another slimming supplements, which helps over weight people to lose weight. The main ingredient of Xenical is lipostatin, which works as a lipase inhibitor in the body. It acts to disable the fat digesting lipase enzymes in the intestine. This action reduces around 30 percent of the fat absorbing process in the body. The fats make a smooth passage through the digestive system and weight loss is the result.

Extensive clinical research on obesity show that people who buy Xenical lose about 10 percent or more of their body weight in one year. This is in comparison to those people who are on diet for attaining weight loss.

Reductil works by affecting the neurotransmitters in the brain. These transmit messages between the nerve cells. Transmission of message releases neurotransmitters from nerve cells and reabsorbs them again after transmission. Reductil blocks the re-absorption of neurotransmitters, which may help in moderating mood and other processes in the brain.
It helps in weight loss by reducing an urge for an appetite and people end up eating less.

slimming supplements like Reductil, Acomplia, and Xenical have given a ray of hope for obese people. In adjunct with proper amount of calorie-controlled diet and regular exercise in moderation, these slimming tablets, help you treat obesity.

Obesity does not only bring physical problems, but also cause psychological problems. Many overweight people fall deep into depression and many more troubles. Therefore, people should opt for slimming supplements such as Reductil, Xenical, or Acomplia should get rid of obesity. However, it is important to consult a doctor before they buy Acomplia, Xenical, or Reductil to avoid harmful side effects. For significant results, it is good to add physical activity and good eating habits along with these medications

All of the above are prescription drugs, however if you would like to lose weight and don’t want to get a prescription there are alternatives on the market. Proactol is a leading slimming supplements that will allow you to lose weight by preventing fat to be taken up by your body. By blocking upto 28% of dietry fat you will consume less calories, reducing your weight. Thousands of people have lost weight with Proactol. Read our full Proactol Review

Things to Remember When You Run a Race

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

You may think running a race it simple. Just run. But there are a lot of other things to keep in mind when running a race. Remember to wear your silicone bracelet or silicone wristbands to support the causeyou are running for. Here are a few things to think of when running a race.

Make sure you are going at your own pace. Don’t try to catch up to someone in front of you. This will mess up your pacing, leave you exhausted for the rest of the race. Also, you will probably get in someone else’s way, and could injure yourself if you’re not careful. There’s no need to sprint past someone to beat them. Most 5k races are not competitive. Everyone is there for the same cause and just trying to compete against themselves to finish the race.

Many of these races can become crowded, especially at the beginning. Patience here is a virtue. If you’re a walker, try starting farther back in the pack. Most people will probably be passing you anyway, and it is dangerous for runners to pass packs of walkers.

If you do bring pets, make sure you’re allowed to. Some dogs are great for long runs, but it’s important to keep them under control. Make sure the leash is short, so you don’t trip people. Also make sure your dog will behave himself in public and isn’t going to endanger other runners.

Another thing that can be distracting to other runners is noise. Talking is a great way to pass the time on a long race, but it is good to remember that not everyone wants to hear your conversation about your bodily functions. Keep your music low, try not to slap your feet on the pavement, and keep keys and heart monitors or pacers quiet. Be courteous.

Aid stations can be dangerous. Remember that other runners will be trying to get some water too. Jumping in front of someone is dangerous. Just step off to the side if you need to take a water break. When you finally get your water, watch where you aim it. Many runners tell horror stories about being hit with a careless runner’s water, spit, or snot.

Dress appropriately. While you don’t want to be running in heavy clothes, try to avoid anything too skimpy or see-through. Keep it clean.

The key to running is respect. It’s not about winning. Just treat everyone as you want to be treated and you’ll have a fun safe run.

The Cardio Twister Review – Get Fit With A Whole New Twist

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

For a workout with a twist, for a great fitness machine to tone both the upper and lower body, not forgetting your abdominals, you need the popular Cardio Twister, which is currently all the rage both in the US and in the UK.

With a revolutionary combination of a lateral thigh exerciser combined with rotating handlebars, you trim your waist and core muscles every time you twist and you also tone your arms, back and shoulder muscles at the same time for a great shape and a stunning silhouette.

The pressures of everyday life means that it can be a real challenge to find time to exercise. Along with the majority of the population, I struggle to find time to exercise in between looking after the kids, the house and the dogs and finding time to work as well. Although the exercise is very, very important I just don’t seem to get the time to do it!

It seems like a good idea to get a health club membership when you’re listening to the sales guy, but the reality of the situation is that the gym is often too far away to get to easily, meaning that you skip sessions and then find you are paying the high fees for something that you’re not using. Even if you do get there, often you don’t have enough time to do your full routine.

First you have to do your cardiovascular workout on machines like the treadmill, or the stepper, or the rower, then you have to go round all the fixed weight machines, each of which only works one body part at a time, then at the end you have to do your abdominal training and your cooldown.

I find this process is always takes me more than two hours and as regular exercise is recommended 3 to 4 times a week, that would be at least six hours out of my week. I don’t have six hours to spare in a week! So the idea that the Cardio Twister would be able to help me get fit in my own time and at home was of great interest to me.

The Cardio Twister System is made up of two parts, which easily fit together. The stepper part is a lot more than just a stepper; an up-and-down stepper will only tone the front and back of your thigh and a lot of women have problems with flabby inner and outer thigh.

When you work your legs on the Cardio Twister, you really feel it in every single muscle and you know you’re wasting no time because you’re working several important muscle groups at the same time. The waist level handlebars rotate with the movement so you twist through your stomach and waist muscles to sculpt lean, toned abs and a trim waist. There are also several levels of resistance to choose from, to give you whatever type of workout you want.

Weight Loss – Necessary or Cosmetic? Useful Points to Take Into Consideration

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

Almost daily we hear people saying I must go on a diet or I need to lose a few pounds. These people are usually addicts of the slimmers’ market or are overweight and are just talking about weight loss as a means of consoling themselves, knowing that they probably will not make the effort that is necessary to achieve their “target weight”.

It seems in today’s society that weight loss is an almost constant concern, not just by the people who manufacture all sorts of slimming aids, but also the general pubic who seem that much more aware of the need to keep the calories down.

There are probably a hundred and one ways that retailers will tell you is the best method to make those stubborn inches reduce. However, common sense says that the only real way to keep weight down (that’s if you haven’t already lost it) is regular exercise and sensible eating. Personal opinion doesn’t enter into it. Our GPs have been telling us for years about these two facts but why do we consistently choose to ignore them? Does it sound too difficult?

Fact number one, as we get older – and the “lower end” of this scale has dropped to 40 years of age – probably because of lack of care, bad lifestyle management, bad eating, the only exercise taken is a walk to the car, one in four people are pretty well sure to have developed Type 2 diabetes. Obesity is the main cause of this condition. The side effects being high blood pressure, loss of circulation, usually in the feet, kidney problems, eye problems, etc, etc. It will eventually catch up with you. Promise!

Remember one in four: so if you’re sitting on a 60 seater bus, chances are 15 people could have diabetes – yes 25 per cent!

So, what’s the cure for diabetes. Answer. Nothing! On the one hand, we can ignore it, keep stacking the weight on, keep eating rubbish, let the blood pressure rise, start losing our eyesight, have problems with the waterworks. Then prematurely die!!

There is an alternative though, which involves weight loss. Many, many diabetics take responsibility for their condition – and that includes weight loss. They exercise regularly, eat plenty of low-fat food, plenty of pulses, as much diet drink as they like and, most importantly, walk for 30 minutes a day at least three times a week.

Weight loss is a critical issue in the society we live in today. With foods mass produced, it is up to us to keep ourselves in good condition. That means losing weight. It isn’t really that difficult. We hear a lot from the more famous weight loss companies about their products giving you the ability to lose more weight than their rivals. But, commonsense, a visit to the library to see what a diabetic eats – which is always a good guide. Write yourself a little chart with your regime and away you go.

You will be surprised just how quickly you will get into shape. And, more importantly, it will be fun to do and you will certainly reap the benefit in the long run, especially if you are getting on in years.

I Have to Lose This Weight! But Do You Have the Self Control to Do It? Helpful Information to Know

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

Does this sound familiar? That is what some of us saying for years, after every winter you gain at least 2 kilo’s, needless to say you never manage to lose that weight. Why? Because you bluff yourself, you think you are on a diet but in the meantime you put more food in your mouth.

Think about it – You are busy cooking, what are you doing, taste the food every now and then to make sure the taste is perfect, You go to the Gym, after Gym you bumped into my friend. Hi do you have time for a cuppa. The chocolate cake looks divine, you will have a slice just today. This happens at least three times a week. Friends came over for supper, she brought you a beautiful box of home made chocolates (why not flowers I don’t now) well needless to say that box of chocolates talked to you until it was finish. You are at a kitchen tea, staring at all the lovely pastries and cakes, you thought I shouldn’t but just this ones, and so the pattern of bad eating and no self control goes on and on. Every Monday you start with good intentions, that does not last even two days. It is really tough.

What are you doing to yourself: First you putting on more and more weight and secondly you are harming your health. To lose weight you must be motivated, your mindset must be right. I find the best way to get me in the mood is to go shopping for clothes. You just give yourself on look in those mirrors and your mind is set. For some reasons the mirrors in the change rooms shows everything in detail, maybe it is the light. You look disgusting to yourself, enough to do the trick.

Let’s look at some weight loss tips-

* Like I said, set your mind, you are tired of trying on your clothes and nothing fits, so it is now or never.
* Start you first day with a detox- make a Leek soup, just cut Leeks up add water to cover and cook until soft, drain water and drink as many cups for the day as you like, eat the leeks in between. You will not get hungry.
* Eat normal but cut out all sauces, sugars, cheeses, full cream milk, creams, eggs, red meat, canned food and tomato sauce (tomato sauce contains sugar). Fat intake should only be 15%-20% that is all your body needs, Reduce your portions. Have 4 – 5 smaller meals. Eat high fibre multigrain bread. Go easy on salt, bring it down to half of what you normal use. Instead of frying food, bake it, baking is far healthier and requires less oil of fat. Buy always low fat products. What I find works best is to stick to steamed vegetables, because your portions can be bigger.
* Cut or reduce alcohol intake, sodas etc. rather just drink water, a bit boring but spice it up with fresh herbs, I make a jug in the morning with some mint, lavender or any other fresh herbs, or make herbal tea and drink it cold as a drink. Water flush out toxins. Start your day with a glass of water. Eat tomatoes and watermelon to increase your water intake, it contains 90 -95% water with no calories.
* Eat intelligently, the differents between man and beast is that we are driven by intelligence while beasts are driven by instinct. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Ask yourself whether your body really needs it. Control that sweet tooth. Remember those sweet things, especially chocolates and other confectionary is going to add on somewhere.
* Snack on raw veggies, go easy on tea and coffee, having a cup of coffee with cream and 2 teaspoons of sugar is the same as eating a slice of chocolate cake.
* Eat only when you hungry. Some of us have the tendency to eat whenever we see food, this can cause the whole weeks diet to be wasted by just on day’s overindulgent. Make a list of what you have consumed in a day, include all the tasting while you were cooking, you will be amazed of what you can cut out.
* They say that you can lose weight when you drink a cup of black coffee before a work out, apparently the caffeine in the coffee makes the body rely more on fat for fuel during the work out, but don’t drink coffee in excess, as it tends to desensitize your body to the fat burning effect of caffeine.
* The bible said that the faith is dead without the works and the works is dead without the faith, so is it with a diet, it is dead without exercise and exercise is dead without diet. Like we go to Gym and after Gym for coffee and cake, it just doesn’t go together your exercise is in vain. You will not lose weight.
* You don’t need to kill yourself exercising to compliment your diet. There are simple ways to exercise- walking, walk for about 10 to 15 minutes with a bit faster pase as normal. If you got a sitting down job, get up every half an hour, walk up and down the stairs in the office, park your car as far as you can from the entrance of a shopping mall or office, this way you do more walking, but remember to walk fast. (this will also prevent you from getting an old age walk when you a become older). Pull in you stomach all the time, practising this will give you amazing results. Also practice breathing, breathing exercise leads to weight loss. Take time of if possible to work in the garden. Turn on music and dance. Pretend you are a pop star, go made, I love this, it not only helps you to burn calories but also reduce stress. What is also nice is to organize a few friends to dance with you. I did belly dancing and still do some of the movements when I get up to stretch and even when I sit down typing I move my shoulders all the time.

I am motivated what about you?

Begin Slim Hypnosis – Can Weight Loss Be Achieved With Audio Hypnosis? Useful Information to Be Aware of

June 24th, 2009 by Home fitness specialist

As research and studies continue into how the mind and body are linked, it is with some justification that hypnosis is increasingly believed to be a major force in helping thousands of people overcome their fears, bad habits, addictions and a whole number of mental issues. One such topic that lies at the heart of this regards using hypnosis to help with weight loss. Recently coming on to the market over the last few years has been the emergence of self-help audio courses, aimed at helping you without the need for lengthy and expensive consultations. Is this really a viable option however?

When starting on a program of audio hypnosis, it is important to ensure you are somewhere where you will not be distracted. Retiring to a room away from the road, the squabbling kids or other external disturbances is key. You should also ensure you are in a comfortable position, possibly lying on a couch or bed with your head and back slightly raised. Once you are satisfied with the conditions, simply start the audio. You should concentrate fully on the sounds and/or voice coming through the recording, and allow this to be guide for you to enter a state where you are focusing only on your one single aim: To achieve weight loss.

By allowing yourself to concentrate on this one topic, you automatically quiet any other interfering thought processes and concerns going on in your mind. This enables a clearer more strategic approach to compartmentalizing your problems, symptoms and triggers and allows for an extended period of time to analyze each area. It will allow you to understand the bigger picture better, and systematically work through each problem, how you have resolved it in the past and how you can resolve it in the future.

The weight loss audio hypnosis programs not only work immediately, to help you understand the complaint better, but allows this higher plane of thinking to be induced, at least partially, completely separate of any recording. It teaches methods and techniques in being able to better focus and control your mind to help deal with testing situations, or inner conflict. It will teach you to recognize thought patterns you have whilst considering to eat, eating, or after eating. It will help you understand you feelings at each of these times, so you can directly see what effects they are having.

You may discover such traits as always reaching for high calorie drink or snack when eating a certain type of food. Perhaps you will find that you are more inclined to start thinking about food if spending too much time on one particular task or chore.

There are many people globally that extol the virtues of hypnosis audio for weight loss. However, as with all things, there are those that are effective and proven, and those that are just money making exercises. Before undertaking any such course, it is advisable to complete appropriate research and look for testimonials – then follow these up. Whilst hypnosis may not be a magical cure, it certainly can help to tune the mind into the right way of working, which together with a sensible fitness regime could have a dramatically positive effect on your life.

Peter Hill is a hypnotist, writer and public speaker. He runs an informational website with articles, videos, podcasts, and hypnosis mp3s. To take advantage of this free resource on Begin Slim Hypnosis be sure to visit the website.
